How the XMOD System Works

DELTA PLATE

XpaK

CONN-X

A load bearing MOLLE-compatible mount that is user definable in where it can be mounted on the body for optimal use and performance based on the specific needs of the user. The Delta Plate has a triangular load bearing interlocking interface that connects (“CONN-X”) to the XpaK and has an internal push button retention system that locks it in place when the two components are engaged. The Delta Plate also has a built-in design feature that allows it to be mounted to a static object for backup use or resupply with ease of access for operators (i.e. maritime vehicles, walls in guard posts or embassies, on convoy vehicles, tanks, airplanes, or helicopters, etc.).

The spring-loaded carrier case containing rifle magazines with a rear-mounted 4-way fixture that interlocks and “CONN-X” the unit with the Delta Plate. The XpaK has several key design features that enhance biomechanics, muscle memory and efficiency in the operator’s movement and use, which will be highlighted in the design features section below. The XpaK is also semi-disposable, meaning the user can reload the XpaK with new magazines once it is depleted, exchange the empty unit for another fully loaded XpaK or in the case of damage beyond use, it can be discarded. The current XpaK is for AR patterned magazines. Soon, we will have multiple follow-up components that will be able to engage with the Delta Plate.

The unique way that the XpaK and the Delta Plate connect, interface and interlock with one another. The design of the CONN-X is to ensure the two components of the XMOD System self-align, lock in place instantaneously and detach once the retention release device is activated 100% of the time.

DIFFERENT WAYS TO ULTILIZE THE XMOD SYSTEM

Aside from shrinking your mag change time in your rifle, there’s other ways you can utilize the XMOD System. Interior vehicle mounting enables the operator to use the vehicle’s ammunition inventory first before depleting their on-person inventory in case of need for vehicle evacuation. Or mount your backup ammo cache in your vehicle for transportation, storage. It is always ready to deploy at a moment’s notice by stripping a single mag from the XpaK or removing the entire XpaK to take it with you.

Centralizes on-person inventory of ammunition frees up more space to carry additional equipment or materials, especially advantageous for smaller framed individuals. Consolidates and centralizes ammunition specifically for individuals riding in tight quartered armored vehicles.

Use the XMOD System’s semi-nesting and interlocking feature to stack multiple XpaKs on top of one another to keep your magazines organized while in storage.

Mount the Delta Plate to any Molle on your gear that that has an available Molle footprint of 4 sticks wide and 3 rows high.

Utilize the mounting holes in the Molle fingers of the Delta Plate to mount to a wall or flat surface. You decide where… In your basement, in your garage, in your gun room, in your safe, in your vehicle, in your FOB guard post, in your gear locker, in your team BearCat, in your squad car.

PHILOSOPHY OF USE

The XMOD System is the next step in the evolution of the magazine pouch. It was created to address said deficiencies and be a combat multiplier during engagements, giving the tactical operator superior speed in their rifle magazine exchange. The XMOD System was designed to easily adapt to an operator’s existing wearable ensemble via a MOLLE-adaptable mount plate to replace the existing magazine soft-pouch setup. The mount can also be attached to a static fixture like a vehicle or wall to use as a backup or storage supply for loaded magazines. XMG has invented, designed, and is launching the first in a series of modular equipment platforms designated as the XMOD System. This modularly attached magazine carrier product minimizes the window of vulnerability all Soldiers and law enforcement officers experience while under fire and their primary rifle has an empty magazine. The design and intent of the XMOD System is to compress the transition time in reloading magazine during operations. The XMOD System’s design also addresses current issues regarding operational storage, transportation, and distribution of small and large-scale inventories of readily deployable magazines and ammunition, streamlining the process and making logistics more economical, expeditious and simplistic.
